Our Mission

At Greyt Angels, our mission is clear and heartfelt: to provide retiring greyhounds and sighthounds with the opportunity for a peaceful transition to loving forever homes. We are committed to offering these gentle companions the love, care, and support they deserve. Through our dedicated efforts, we ensure that each dog finds a loving forever home where they can thrive.  Our belief in the life-changing potential of new starts drives us to carefully connect each hound with a family that recognizes and treasures their individual qualities.

Our Approach

We specialize in rehoming retired greyhounds from the racing industry, providing them with foster homes where they can comfortably adjust and transition into their new lives. Additionally, we open our doors to sighthounds from various backgrounds, including those from shelters and other rescues, offering them the opportunity to find loving families and begin a cherished new chapter in their lives.

Where to Find Us

We host and/or participate in a variety of events throughout the year, including monthly meet and greets at our local Petco, where we are able to connect available hounds with potential forever families, educate the community about greyhounds, and build community between owners and friends of the breed. The hounds enjoy the opportunity to interact, too!
